From Agbenyi Village to the State Assembly
Hon. Andrew Aondofa Chila is a Nigerian public administrator, business executive, and development-focused leader from Agbenyi Village, Ukenga, Kendev Ward, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State. Born in Genye, Adamawa state north eastern Nigeria, he is a professional with a strong background in governance, constituency management, corporate leadership, and community development.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Studies from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and has built a multidisciplinary career spanning public service, private sector management, and political mobilization. His professional expertise cuts across strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, operations management, leadership development, and digital administration tools.
Hon. Chila currently serves as Head of Office for the Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency Office, where he oversees administrative coordination, constituency engagement, and facilitation of government-citizen interface. He previously served as a Board Member of the Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC), where he contributed to corporate governance, fiduciary oversight, and strategic institutional direction.
In the private sector, he has held leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer of Abusites Media Services Inc, Director of Sales and Operations at eUnit Technology Nigeria Ltd, and Business Development Lead for Envirofit International Inc. (Nigeria). He also worked in sales, administration, and customer relations with UK Bawa Nigeria Ltd and PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc, building a solid foundation in organizational efficiency and operational excellence.
His leadership footprint extends into political coordination and youth development, where he has served as State Coordinator of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Network (Benue Chapter), Director General of the Prince Solomon Wombo Campaign Organisation (Ukum LGA), and National Director of Mobilization and Operations for the Nigerian Youths Alliance for Democratic Transformation (NIYADET).
He is widely recognized for excellence and performance, having received multiple awards including Outstanding Staff of the Year (2015 & 2016), Best Performing Corps Member (2011), and several certificates of honour for service, leadership, and academic distinction. His professional development is reinforced by certifications in negotiation and conflict management (USIP), leadership, risk assessment, customer service, digital marketing, cyber security, and administrative management.
