A frontline aspirant for the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Chila Andrew Aondofa, has taken a significant step in his 2027 political journey with a strategic engagement with the All Progressives Congress (APC) Executive Committee (EXCO) of Kendev Ward in Ukum.
The visit, which took place earlier today, was aimed at formally seeking the blessings, support, and endorsement of key party stakeholders in Kendev, widely regarded as a critical bloc in the Ukum State Constituency political landscape.

Speaking during the meeting, the immediate past Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism in Benue State, Hon. Mathew Abo, emphasized the importance of unity among aspirants. He reiterated that the State Assembly seat is zoned to Kendev and urged all contenders to embrace the outcome of the process in good faith, rallying behind whoever emerges victorious for the collective interest of the constituency.
In separate remarks, community leaders including Mr. Iorchir Bossua, representing Mbapor/Mbaagande, and Comrade Geoffrey Iorlaha from Ukenga/Vandev, commended Hon. Chila for what they described as his sterling qualities, leadership capacity, and grassroots connection. They expressed confidence in his aspiration and assured him of their full support.
