A frontline aspirant for the Ukum State Constituency seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Andrew Aondofa Chila, has officially picked his expression of Interest and Nomination Form ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Chila obtained the form on Thursday, May 1, 2026, at the Benue State Secretariat of the party in Makurdi, marking a significant step in his quest to represent the people of Ukum in the Benue State House of Assembly.

The former board member of the Benue Investment and Property Company and former Head of the Sankera Constituency Office was accompanied by supporters and political associates who described his aspiration as a movement driven by service, inclusion, and grassroots development.
Speaking shortly after picking the form, Hon. Chila said his ambition is anchored on the desire to provide effective representation, attract development, and promote peace and unity across Ukum State Constituency.
According to him, the journey towards #Restoration2027 is not about personal ambition but about offering purposeful leadership and creating better opportunities for the people.
โThis is just the beginning of the journey. The people of Ukum deserve quality representation built on ideas, accessibility, and commitment to development. Better days are coming,โ he stated.
Hon. Chila, widely regarded as one of the leading aspirants in the race, has continued to gain attention for his issue-based style of politics and emphasis on peaceful engagement among co-aspirants.
Political observers within the Sankera axis believe his experience in public service and constituency administration positions him as a strong contender in the forthcoming elections.
